Anna Sewell (1820-1878), was an English novelist. Black Beauty is her only published work. She died 5 months after it was published. She was very sick while writing this book, because of that her mother had to transcribe her writings. Although Sewell wrote the book for adult audience, it’s considered to be a children’s classic.
Black Beauty / Siyah İnvi (İngilizce)
“The first place that I can well remember was a large pleasant meadow with a pond of clear water in it. Some shady trees leaned over it, and rushes and water-lilies grew at the deep end.
